Corrections Policy
AI News Desk treats factual accuracy as part of the product. When an article contains a material error, we correct it quickly and make the change visible on the page when the correction affects meaning, dates, figures, sources, or conclusions.
What counts as a correction
- Wrong dates, numbers, quotations, model names, company names, or regulatory facts.
- Broken sourcing that changes the claim being made.
- Mischaracterizing what an official document, company, or research paper says.
What counts as an update
- Adding new details as a story develops.
- Refreshing pricing, deadlines, screenshots, or product details after publication.
- Improving wording for clarity without changing factual meaning.
How changes appear on articles
When a change materially affects the reader’s understanding, the article gets an update note stating what changed and when. Minor style or formatting fixes may be made without a note.
How to request a correction
Email hello@ainewsdesk.app with the article URL, the specific issue, and a source that supports the correction. Official documents, product docs, research papers, and regulator pages are preferred.
Review process
Editorial corrections are prioritized ahead of commercial requests. If the evidence is clear, the article is corrected and the note is added when needed. If the claim is disputed, the article may be clarified, updated with sourcing, or temporarily narrowed until the evidence is verified.
